Hello to OSSMichigan.org! I’m a new “face” on the planet, and I wanted to start things out by saying thanks to Milosz Tanski for opening the door to me and my ramblings on tech and open source!
I’m an open source fan-boy and tech enthusiast, general tinkerer and tech support for all of my computer-illiterate friends and family. I got into open source about 3 years ago, as a total computer junkie bonded to the world of Windoze out of pure hair-pulling frustration, and Ubuntu paved the way of a much brighter world for me! Three years on and not a computer in my home runs anything but Linux and open source happiness. I’m constantly trying to expand my knowledge and ability with Linux and FOSS in general.
I’m a totally sold convert on the whole so-called philosophy of open source, and strive to promote FOSS whenever I can. I’m a member of the Ubuntu-MI loco, even though I never actually show up for events, I was there for the first beer-fest..I mean..meeting, in Ann Arbor.
